Washington County Correctional Facility is operated by the Washington County Sheriff's Office. Who Washington County Jail Holds
The facility holds adults in local custody for Washington County. That includes newly arrested people, pretrial detainees, locally sentenced people, warrant holds, other-agency holds, and people awaiting transfer. The public roster shows both male and female custody and includes charge examples ranging from public intoxication and municipal warrants to felony-level allegations, remanded status, and other-agency warrant service.

Washington County Jail Visitation

Washington County Jail Mail
Mail goes to Washington County Sheriff's Office, inmate name, 611 SW Adams Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74003. Incoming and outgoing mail must include first and last names and full addresses for both the sender and recipient. Mail is scanned and delivered electronically. Recently released people cannot correspond with current inmates for six months after release unless approved by the Detention Center Administrator.

Because money left in an inmate commissary account may be obtained only by the inmate on release, confirm custody before depositing funds.
Booking at Washington County Jail
A local arrest leads to transport and booking at the facility. The roster creates public fields such as BookingID, inmate ID, name, sex or gender, race, age, city when present, booking date, charges, bond total in API data, and mugshot status. Internal classification and housing happen outside the public roster. The public record may show a new booking with a precise timestamp, but the research did not locate a published refresh interval.
Bond and release questions should be checked with the jail or the court when a case has been filed. The sheriff's bondsmen page says incomplete or improperly notarized bonds will not be accepted, approved, or filed by the Court Clerk, and that case numbers must be present after cases are filed. Another-agency holds, no-bond orders, federal holds, DOC holds, or ICE issues can prevent release.

Washington County Jail History
Official Bartlesville city history explains why the county does not need a separate Bartlesville city jail page. A city article by former City Manager Ed Gordon says Bartlesville and Washington County combined detention and dispatch services because there was no reason to have two jails or two dispatch centers. The article says the combined services saved city and county taxpayers substantial money and that the jail site was formerly the Baughman Cement Plant site.
Bartlesville Police are located nearby at the Public Safety Complex, and the department operates the E-911 Dispatch Center for Bartlesville, Dewey, and Washington County. The Washington County Correctional Facility is therefore the local adult detention hub, while court functions and county administration sit nearby in central Bartlesville.
