Washington County Jail Mugshots
The Washington County sheriff roster displays booking photos when the public booking record has a `bookieImg` filename. The roster card and profile page use that image field for the booking mugshot. If a photo is not available, the site can show an official no-image placeholder. The sample booking record inspected on June 25, 2026 included a mugshot filename, which confirms that booking photos are integrated into the current-custody roster.
The sheriff site does not publish a separate recent-bookings gallery, historical mugshot archive, released-inmate photo index, or published retention period for booking photos. The roster is described as current in-custody inmates. Its not-found message points to VINELink when someone may have been released or transferred. For that reason, Washington County jail mugshots should be treated as current roster material unless the Records Division provides a specific historical record.
Public scope: The official roster may show a mugshot for a current booking, but it does not guarantee every booking photo, release photo, or old mugshot remains online.
Find Washington County Booking Photos
The same search path used for inmate records is used for booking photos. Start with the Washington County Sheriff's Office Inmate Search, search by name, and open the profile. The public profile shows the image area, demographics, inmate ID, booking date, charges, and action buttons when a record is available.
- Open the official sheriff inmate-search page.
- Enter the person's name in the "Search by Name..." field.
- Open the matching inmate card or profile.
- Look for the booking photo area or no-image placeholder.
- If the person is not listed, check VINELink or contact the jail before assuming no booking existed.
- For a photo not online, submit an open records request to the WCSO Records Division with the name, booking date, and booking or case number if known.
The sample booking profile screenshot shows where the mugshot area appears next to the inmate profile fields.
The booking profile is the official place to check a current Washington County jail mugshot before using a public-records request.
Washington County Mugshot Record Fields
A booking photo is only one part of the jail record. The same profile can show the details needed to distinguish one person from another, especially when names are similar. It can also show why a court search is needed, because booking charge text may not match later formal charges filed by the prosecutor.
| Field | What it shows near the photo |
|---|---|
| Mugshot / `bookieImg` | Booking photo filename when available, or no-image display. |
| BookingID | Local booking number such as 2026-00001160. |
| Name | Full name and name parts captured by the roster. |
| Demographics | Sex or gender, race, age, and locale when populated. |
| Booking date | Date and time of jail intake. |
| Charges | Plain-language booking charge text that may later be amended in court. |
| Bond data | Bond total can appear in API data, but the visible detail body may not label it clearly. |
Oklahoma Mugshot Public Records
Oklahoma law does not require every booking photo to remain displayed on a county web roster. The key access law in the research is 51 O.S. Section 24A.8, which requires law-enforcement agencies to make certain records available for inspection and copying if kept, including arrestee descriptions and facts concerning arrests. The captured statute snippet did not use the word "mugshot," so the safer reading is that arrest and booking information has public-record support while photo availability depends on the record kept and any lawful limits.
51 O.S. Section 24A.5 separately states that Oklahoma public records are open for inspection and copying during regular business hours unless an exemption applies. Washington County's practical request route is the sheriff's Records Division. The records page says open records requests should be submitted to Records Division for processing and lists copy, report, fax, scan, print, and fingerprint fees.
| Records item | Fee listed by WCSO |
|---|---|
| Copies and reports | First page $1; additional pages $0.50 |
| Faxes | First page $1; additional pages $0.50 |
| Email and scan | First page $1; additional pages $0.50 |
| Email and print | First page $1; additional pages $0.50 |
| Fingerprints | $30 / 2 cards |
Request Washington County Mugshots
A request for a booking photo should be specific. Give the person's full name, date of arrest or booking if known, BookingID if known, and the related case number if a court case has been filed. Records staff may need to verify whether the photo exists, whether it is releasable, and what fee applies.

611 SW Adams Blvd.
Bartlesville, OK 74003
(918) 332-4000
Jail line: (918) 332-4011. Records requests are routed through the sheriff's records page.
The WCSO records page shows the Records Division and fee table used for open records requests.
The records page is the official fallback when a current roster photo is missing, the person is no longer listed, or a copy is needed from the source agency.
When No Mugshot Appears
No-image results can happen for several reasons. The photo may not have loaded, the booking may not have a public image filename, the person may have been released, the roster may be updating, or the relevant custody system may not be the county jail at all. Federal BOP results do not publish mugshots in the same manner as a county roster. ICE ODLS is a custody locator, not a mugshot gallery.
- Use VINELink if the person may have been released or transferred.
- Use OK Offender Lookup if the person was sentenced to state prison.
- Use BOP for federal prisoners from 1982 to present.
- Use ICE ODLS for immigration custody.
- Call the jail line before relying on an absent image as proof no booking occurred.
Washington County Mugshot Removal
The WCSO pages did not publish a mugshot-removal policy. Oklahoma sealing and expungement law is handled through court procedure, not by a simple website request. 22 O.S. Section 18 addresses expungement eligibility, and 22 O.S. Section 19 addresses sealing and unsealing procedure after an expungement order.
A court order may limit public access to official records, but it does not automatically remove screenshots, copied images, or third-party republications outside the control of Washington County. Do not pay or rely on commercial mugshot removal promises without legal advice and a clear understanding of the source record. For the official record, the Court Clerk and the sheriff's Records Division are the offices to verify what order exists and what records remain public.
| Situation | Practical next step |
|---|---|
| Current roster photo is wrong or missing | Call the jail or contact the Records Division. |
| Case was dismissed | Check OSCN/ODCR and ask whether expungement eligibility applies. |
| Court entered a sealing order | Verify the order with the Court Clerk and ask agencies named in the order. |
| Photo appears on a non-official site | Do not assume county staff can remove a third-party copy. |
Mugshots vs Court Records
A Washington County jail mugshot is tied to a booking event. A Washington County court record is tied to a filed case. The booking photo can appear before the prosecutor files formal charges, and a photo can remain connected to a booking even if charges later change. To understand the case outcome, search Washington County court records after jail arrest through OSCN, ODCR, and the Court Clerk.
Note: A booking photo documents jail intake; it is not proof that a person was convicted of the listed charge.
