Washington County Jail Roster
The official Washington County jail roster is the Washington County Sheriff's Office Inmate Search. It is public, free, and does not require an account. The sheriff page says it shows in-custody inmates, when they were booked, charges, and added information. It also says inmates are sorted by booking date and that a user looking for one person should search by name.
This roster is for current jail custody at the Washington County Correctional Facility. It does not replace the Court Clerk's docket, Oklahoma Department of Corrections records, BOP records, ICE ODLS, or official record copies from the sheriff's Records Division. If the roster does not find a person, the next step depends on the custody path: release or transfer alerts through Oklahoma VINELink, prison status through OK Offender Lookup, federal custody through BOP, or immigration custody through ICE ODLS.
Search Washington County Inmates
The roster search works best when the user starts broad and then verifies the profile. Names can vary, city fields can be blank, and a person may be booked under a middle name, hyphenated name, or spelling used during intake. The captured API showed records in 25-result pages, so a broad search may require paging through current custody results.
- Open the official sheriff inmate search and let the roster cards load.
- Type the last name, or the most reliable name part, into the "Search by Name..." field.
- Compare roster cards by name, booking date, age, sex, and photo status.
- Open the profile to review the booking ID, inmate ID, charges, booking time, and action buttons.
- Use the jail line at (918) 332-4011 when the roster result conflicts with release, bond, or transfer information.
The official roster can be updating when a person is not found. The sheriff page points users to VINELink if the inmate may have been released or transferred. For a filed court case after the booking, use the court records after jail arrest page because court charges can differ from the booking charge labels.
Washington County Roster Search Fields
The public search screen is intentionally lean. The visible control is a name filter, while paging is handled by the site and its API. No published instructions require a date of birth, first name, booking number, or facility dropdown for the public roster search.
| Field label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search by Name... | Text input | No | Filters in-custody records by name; a last-name test returned matches. |
| Pagination offset | URL/API parameter | No | Captured API result used 25-record pages. |
| Limit | URL/API parameter | No | Default captured page size was 25 records. |

The screenshot matches the research finding: the county roster is a current-custody name search, not a historical booking archive.
Washington County Inmate Profile Fields
Opening a roster card gives the most useful public inmate record. The sample profile inspected on June 25, 2026 showed full name, sex, race, age, booking date, inmate ID, charges, mugshot status, and action buttons for deposit, commissary, inmate notifications, and returning to all bookings. The public profile did not show housing unit, arresting agency, court date, full date of birth, street address, medical notes, or classification status.
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Booking Number | Local booking ID such as 2026-00001160. |
| Inmate ID | Local identifier shown from the roster's bookieID field. |
| Booking Date | Jail intake timestamp, displayed in profile format. |
| Name and demographics | Name, sex or gender, race, age, and locale when populated. |
| Charges | Plain-language booking charge text that may later differ from formal court charges. |
| Mugshot | Booking photo when a `bookieImg` filename exists, or a no-image placeholder. |
| Bond total | Present in API/list data, though not always labeled in the visible profile body. |

The profile layout is useful for custody verification, but it is not the official court file and does not show every record held by the sheriff.
Washington County Custody Fallbacks
A missing roster result does not always mean no custody exists. New bookings can take time to appear, a person can be released, a name can be misspelled, or custody can shift to another agency. The Washington County Sheriff's Office lists the jail line as (918) 332-4011, the main office as (918) 332-4000, and the dispatch/non-emergency path as (918) 338-4001. Records requests go through the Records Division.
| Need | Best channel | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Current local jail custody | WCSO inmate search or jail line | Covers Washington County Correctional Facility. |
| Release or transfer notice | VINELink or 877-654-8463 | Linked by the sheriff roster for custody status alerts. |
| Historical booking record | WCSO Records Division | The current roster is not a full archive. |
| State prison | OK Offender Lookup | Sentenced Oklahoma prisoners leave county roster coverage after transfer. |
| Federal or ICE custody | BOP, USMS Northern District, or ICE ODLS | Federal and immigration custody use separate systems. |
Washington County also publishes an official sheriff app page. The page says app users can access inmate info, report incidents, and receive alerts. The research did not confirm any app-only inmate search feature because the web roster also provides inmate info.
For record copies, the sheriff records page lists a fee table rather than a full online request form in the captured text. Copies and reports, faxes, email-and-scan work, and email-and-print work are listed at $1 for the first page and $0.50 for each added page. Fingerprints are listed separately. Those fees matter when a released inmate no longer appears on the current roster and a booking record, report copy, or older jail record must come from the office that maintains WCSO records.
Washington County Jail Facility
The county jail facility for these inmate records is the Washington County Correctional Facility. No separate adult roster was found for Bartlesville, Dewey, or other Washington County municipalities. City arrests and county arrests are routed to the sheriff's jail system after booking or transfer.

Washington County Booking Process
Washington County does not publish a full jail booking manual, but the public record path is clear. A person arrested by deputies, Bartlesville Police, Dewey Police, or another agency can be transported to the Washington County Correctional Facility. The jail creates a booking record with name, demographics, booking ID, inmate ID, booking date, charges, bond data in the API, and a photo when available. Classification, medical screening, housing, and internal security decisions are not shown on the public roster.
Charges on the booking profile are not always the final court charges. The prosecutor may decline, amend, add, reduce, or file charges in Washington County District Court. Bond totals may appear in roster data, but another-agency holds, warrants, federal holds, DOC holds, or no-bond orders can prevent release even when one bond is addressed.
Washington County Jail Visits
Visitation rules come from the sheriff visitation page and the county correctional-facility page. Visits must be scheduled. Visitors need photo ID, cannot enter the lobby until shortly before the scheduled visit, cannot bring electronic devices into the visitation room, and may bring only keys and a wallet. No inmate property is accepted during visitation.
| Visit type | Schedule or allowance | Rules |
|---|---|---|
| Free local lobby visit | One 15-minute visit each calendar month, Saturday or Sunday | Scheduled by the inmate in the sheriff's front lobby. |
| Video visitation | One 10-minute visitation per day | Provided by City Tele Coin; visitor must be on approved list. |
| In-house visitation | One free visit every 30 days; additional visits cost $10 | No-contact and scheduled by calling (918) 337-2800. |
| Weekend visits | Up to two per weekend, one Saturday and one Sunday | Limited to 15 minutes, one adult and one child. |
The sheriff visitation page documents the visit categories, City Tele Coin video visitation, and scheduling number.
Because privileges can be suspended for rule violations or facility security, confirm custody and visitation status before travel.
